Age Restrictions

All customers must be over the age of 18 years to purchase alcohol from our shop as it is an offence to do so otherwise. It is also an offence to purchase alcohol on behalf of a minor. By purchasing from us, you are confirming that you are over the legal age of 18 years old.


Prices are clearly shown on the website next to each item. All costs are quoted in pounds sterling. Delivery costs are only added once customers visit check-out, which will be charged at the rates mentioned in the delivery section of this website. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

Order Amendments

Customers can change their orders at The Belgian Beer Company as long as the order has not been packed ready for dispatch. Please contact us via telephone or email.

Unfortunately, we will not exchange, refund or replace items that are not liked by the customer.

Returns Policy

If you have changed your mind and no longer want the order, please inform us within fourteen calendar days from the day after you have received the order. You then have an additional fourteen calendar days to return the item(s) to us in its original condition and unused. We will then refund you the total value of the item(s) plus the outbound delivery costs within fourteen calendar days of receiving the goods. Please note that we will not refund the cost of postage and packaging of any returns as this is the responsibility of the customer. Please return any items to:

All refunds will be paid within thirty days of cancelling / returning the product(s).


Even though we try our up-most to package all products securely and safely, due to the items being made from glass (bottles / glasses), there is a risk that they might get broken in transit so please open boxes carefully to avoid injury. If your items are damaged / broken upon arrival, they must be signed for as damaged on the courier’s manifest and you must notify us within three days of delivery. Please keep the parcel and take a photo of the damaged goods and then email a copy to We will then either refund the full amount of the product or post a new item(s) out to you. Please note that we will not refund / replace damaged items without you sending us a photo to us so please do not just dispose of them.

We shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you, other than any refund as stated above. In particular, but without limitation, we shall not be liable to you for loss of profit, damage to goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any damage, defect, negligence or other failing on our part. Customers accept responsibility for the safe storage and use of the products upon receipt. We are not liable for damage caused by customer mishandling.

If our courier company has tried to deliver the parcel(s) twice or more but no-one has been there to take delivery and then the parcel has been damaged (due to excessive handling / transporting), we will happily refund the cost of the item(s) but not the cost of delivery as we feel it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to sign for the delivery on the first attempt.

No compensation can be offered for loss of wages due to failed or late deliveries.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in the terms and conditions shall affect the Statutory Rights of the purchaser.


We will always endeavour to supply products exactly as specified but reserve the right to substitute items of similar quality and value if necessary. If this occurs, we will always inform you before dispatching the order.

Labels and appearances can and do vary occasionally and the images shown on the website may not be exactly the same as current stock items. If the bottle, glass or label is important to you, please contact us prior to ordering.

Any issues will be dealt with quickly and efficiently. We promise to respond to any problems within five working days of receiving the complaint and will stay in regular contact with the customer until the issue is resolved.
