Beer Description: Timmermans Kriek Black Pepper is a new flavoured Belgian fruit beer by the Timmermans Brewery. In 2023, the Belgian Lambic brewery undertook a major rebranding and changed its fruit beers to keep with the modern times. Timmermans Kriek Black Pepper is still a good quality, cherry lambic with an almondy dryness with the addition of black pepper. Lambic is a type of beer traditionally brewed in the Pajottenland region of Belgium, near to Brussels. They are spontaneously fermented via wild, airborne yeast and are very rare. Best served between 4-6 degrees Celsius. If you enjoy drinking cherry beers, then this is a modern twist. In 2024, Timmermans Kriek Black Pepper was awarded a bronze medal at the World Beer Awards. In 2025, it was awarded a silver medal at the Concours International de Lyons and a gold medal at the World Beer Awards for the category of Fruit Lambic.
