Beer Description: Oude Kriek sits between the normal Boon Kriek and Mariage Parfait. It is made by mixing 400 grams of real cherries to one year old lambic (per litre). After it has matured, it starts to taste similar to port or Madeira wine. The bottles are corked. This is the 2020 version. At the Brussels Beer Challenge 2018, it was awarded a silver beer medal for the category of Old Style Fruit-Lambic. In 2019, it was awarded a bronze medal at the World Beer Awards for the category of “World’s Best Kriek”.
