Beer Description: Timmermans Kriek Black Pepper is a new flavoured Belgian fruit beer by the Timmermans Brewery. In 2023, the Belgian Lambic brewery undertook a major rebranding and changed it’s fruit beers to keep with the modern times. Timmermans Kriek Black Pepper is still a good quality, cherry lambic with an almondy dryness with the addition of black pepper.

Lambic is a type of beer traditionally brewed in the Pajottenland region of Belgium, near to Brussels. They are spontaneously fermented via wild, airborne yeast and are very rare. Best served between 4-6 degrees Celsius. If you enjoy drinking cherry beers, then this is a modern twist.

In 2024, Timmermans Kriek Black Pepper was awarded a bronze medal at the World Beer Awards. In 2025, it was awarded a silver medal at the Concours International de Lyons and a gold medal at the World Beer Awards for the category of Fruit Lambic.

The Timmermans Brewery is the world’s oldest lambic brewery. It was originally founded as De Mol (The Mole) in 1702, hence why there’s a little mole on the Timmermans brand.
