Beer Description: Ename Pater is a cloudy blonde Abbey beer that’s based on the beer that the monks used to drink themselves, hence the name “Pater”. It’s got a low ABV so their minds could stay clear for work and prayer. Re-fermentation occurs in the bottle. In 2017, it won an award at the World Beer Awards for the category of “World’s Best Golden Ale”. In 2020, it was awarded a gold medal at the World Beer Awards for the category of Pale Beer. In the same year, Ename Pater was also awarded a gold medal at Brussels Beer Challenge.
