This mixed case of dark Belgian beers lets you sample a range of beer types, from a Flemish sour to a dark Abbey beer. All are dark in colour and range from 5.2-11% ABV. Look out for the unusual shaped matching beer glasses.

Strength: 6.2% ABV
Size of Bottle: 33cl
Beer Description: Duchesse de Bourgogne is a traditional Flemish red ale, which is matured in oak casks and is brewed, on average, for 12 months before being bottled. Please note this is a sour beer, which means it has a vinegary taste.

– 2x Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel
Strength: 11% ABV
Size of Bottle: 33cl
Beer Description: Brewed by De Halve Maan (The Half Moon) Brewery in Bruges for the first time in 2010, this is a very dark and intense strong Belgian beer. Re-fermentation takes place in the bottle.

Beer Description: Specially bottled for the Brewery, John Martin, this relatively rare Belgian Guinness is smooth, dry and bitter.

– 2x Gulden Draak
Strength: 10.5% ABV
Size of Bottle: 33cl
Beer Description: Gulden Draak is brewed by the Van Steenberge Brewery. Translated into English as “Golden Dragon”, this beer is dark and heavy and undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle.

– 2x Monk’s Stout
Strength: 5.2% ABV
Size of Bottle: 33cl
Beer Description: Monk’s Stout is brewed by the Dupont brewery and has recently been revived using the original 60 year old recipe from the 1950s.
